New Mexican El RITO Firefighters and police took on the dual task Monday of trying to put out the nearly wildfire burning near the village of El Rito north of Espanola while coaxing uncooperative residents out of their homes As many as 80 people have evacuated their homes since the blaze formed from a group of smaller fires Saturday but about 30 people have refused to leave despite evacuation
