matches with postregulation finishes and two different results In Saturdays District 2A AAAboys soccer match between Santa Fe Preparatory and St Michaels at Brennand Memorial Field it was the Blue Griffins turn to be victorious They avenged a loss to the Horsemen earlier this season with a 32 finish that was decided in a suddendeath Shootout You hate to lose games like said Merritt Brown SL and Luis Ponce scored inside five minutes of each other for Capital which led 20 at intermission Isaac De Luna Navarro and Steven Santos capped the scor ing with goals in the 45th and 68th minute scored the goahead goal in a nondistrict match at Salvador Perez Park in football Saturday Pojoaque 40 Wingate O If nothing else came out of the Elks shutout of the Bears 05 in Pojoaque it at least was an egobooster It was good for said Bob Estep Pojoaque head coach It was a good pick meup It got their confidence level back up and now we have two weeks to prepare for St Randal Ortega threw four 2511 The win improved St Michaels District 2AAA record to 31 Game 2 was very said St Michaels head coach Chela Butler They played well I think we were just very confident going Rosemary Othmer had 10
