most of the people he meets there dont want to talk about their pets Real estate is on their minds pricey Santa Fe real estate and numbers released Friday indicate home prices are at an alltime high I get a lot of questions about real estate some of them arent too said Dobyns who knows the subject pretty well Hes a sales agent with French and French Fine Properties Sothebys International Realty and president of the Santa Fe Association of Realtors Secondquarter numbers show that the median sales price in the city of Santa Fe has reached the highest price ever Thats up 15 percent from the same period in 2004 The median sales price in Santa Fe County rose even more 17 percent to Those high prices move Santa Fe into almost the same price range as Boston where the median sales price for the post bail Rodella presided over the Wednesday arraignment of Manzanares who pleaded not guilty to charges of driving under the influence and not wearing a seat belt Manzanares had failed three field sobriety tests and blew percent and percent on breathalcohol tests after being stopped July 4 according to documents filed in magistrate court in Chama The legal limit for driving while intoxicated is percent Manzanares was released to his wifes custody less than four hours after his arrest Rodella declined to comment on this story Friday The case drew criticism from a state leader in the antiDVVI grand jury indicted Martha Stewart pundits asked why the government was going after her for a relatively small per sonal stock fat cats like WorldComs Ber nard Ebbers walked free Fast forward two years to a courtroom two floors above Martha Stewarts where Ebbers was reduced to tears this week as a fed eral judge handed down a 25year prison term for overseeing the billion fraud at the longdistance telephone company he founded In the latest wave of corporate scandals the days of reckoning are finally here Legal observers say years of hard and often deli work by prosecutors initially accused by some of dragging their feet are how beginning to pay off in highprofile sentencings These were a series of unprecedented cases which were going to take unprec edented resources to pros said
