It came easy for me to design and in two Days i handed in fifty original Despine. They were accepted and not a Skye Money began to Roll in upon me and throwing aside Pride i took As much interest in Cane Heads As possible. I find that Many Young artists prefer to remain poor Aud not do mechanical work. I As much interest i my As i would in painting the portrait of a distinguished lady. In one year i cleared designing Cane Heads it was a splendid Start and some How i have never got out of the Busi Ness. It is not pot boiling work by Auy manner of Means for brains Are required to do original work.
