An employee reported that vehicles parked inside the fenced parking area had been damaged. Fourteen school District vehicles and one private vehicle had been damaged. Several school District vehicles and the privately owned vehicle had All the tires slashed. One school District vehicle had four seats slashed. The damaged school District vehicles included a school bus vans trucks and passenger cars. The damage is estimated at approximately $5,400. The facility was open from Early morning until Midnight. Commissioners approved the special District service plan for the Ellicott town Center metropolitan District a request by accretive investments inc., for approval of a service plan precedent to formation of a metropolitan District with the purpose of providing municipal facilities and services to an approximately 500-acre, development planned for 1,048 dwelling units and known As Ellicott town Center. The property is located South of the intersection of state Highway 94 and log Road in the Ellicott Valley planning area. The land use application was approved unanimously with conditions and notations by the planning commission on May 16. Bruce opposed the application because it constituted a 95 percent tax increase. The applicant has proposed the Mill Levy be increased to approximately 99 Mills to generate $25 million in Revenue for estimated costs of approximately $28.5 million. The proposed bonding is $12 million in 2010.
