The Mother s hand still clutched the Fence which the four apparently used for a guide through the blinding torm. A flashlight was found under one body. Temperatures dropped to below freezing in the area thursday night. Storm and reach speeds up to 35 Miles an hour. Snow flurries were expected to continue today in the upper great lakes Region. A storm brought heavy Snow to the Northwestern third of Wisconsin saturday morning. Ashland reported 10 inches by Daybreak. Superior Duluth reported 16 inches of Snow on the ground for a gain of five inches since Friday morning. Grantsburg gained six inches. The state traffic patrol earlier said local areas of freezing rain and sleet caused hazardous driving conditions particularly in the southwestern sector around Prairie Duchien.
