For a number of years Walter was an employee at the Manitoba developmental Centre As a Security guard. He later moved to Winnipeg where he worked at several locations. Walter enjoyed playing the piano and visiting with friends at the Coffee shop. He had a special attachment to Bullet his pet cat.
