He said Many Young people follow the wrong path in life and end up battling problems such As drug and alcohol addiction. Pashe said music helped him survive the hard times. Quot i got More into my cultural ways and it helped me a lot to Deal with problems i had but music just makes me feel Good Quot he that s How i express my feelings a through Pashe went through a series of adjustments during adolescence and dropped out of High school in Grade to. However he said while Many of his friends were taking drugs he did t fall victim to the chemical seductress. After a period of difficult times he eventually decided to return to school and received his High school diploma from Portage la Prairie s Arthur Meighen High school in 2003. Quot i d seen that it was needed in life and i just want that for the younger generations coming up Quot said Pashe. His dedication to music never waned. In 2001, when he was in Grade la Pashe recorded some of his own tracks with a tape recorder and Long Plain first nation 9 radio station put his songs on the air. Pashe said since the response to his music was so favourable he decided to join a hip hop Mon Krausert Central maim Heram Leodeli Kyle Pashe of Dakota tipi first nation is releasing his first hip hop album on june 20. Pashe 20, says music helps him express his feelings and Deal with difficult times in his life. Group in Winnipeg. He stayed with the band Tor about a year and played a number of aboriginal shows and indigenous summer games events. He also performed in the opening ceremonies of the aboriginal film festival in Winnipeg. Over the past two years Pashe has focused on creating his own hip hop album and uses a recording studio set up in his basement at Dakota tipi. A studio in Winnipeg will do the final production work on his cd which will be released in june or july. The youth continues to encourage other Young people to of Lloyd their own path and writes about surviving life s challenges in his music. He also helps youth in a drum group on his Reserve.
