The birth of her daughter was a turning Point for Benjamin. She got a Job w Ith the department of social services keeping runaway kids in the system. In her free time she returns to the projects where she grew up in an attempt to steer the local kids in the right direction. Though Kate identifies with the Quot trial by choir Quot teens on Many Levels because of her own rough past her approach sometimes backfires and drives them away. But when the kids finally see him in action at Bostons renowned Morningstar Baptist Church where he a the minister of music they re amazed and finally impressed.
