Annual Conference of District(^hairmen Is Held.A new project of the Indiana League of Women Voters Is the sale of Lttw, Not War” stamps for scaling: letters, and for postals and packages. Securing concessions for the sale of toy balloons at fairs and bazaars, the publication of a league pamphlet for sale at different league affair'- in the district, and the securing of sustaining memberships were among the methods for raising funds discussed at the annual conference of district chairmen Wednesday at the Spink-Anns.District chairmen made reports on organization during the past year and on their plans for further organization. Tipton, the newest local league, announced oflicers: President, Mrs.Alice E. Waugh; vice presidents, Mrs. C. G. Davis, Mrs. H. P. Meyers, Mrs. Moll Hobbs, Mrs. Ona Sebo; secretary, Mrs. Dulu Hardy; treasurer, Mrs. P. J. Pentecost. The league plans to give a dinner within a few weeks, with Mrs. Richard E. Edwards of Peru os honor guest and speaker.The board of directors of the Indiana L#eague of Women Voters will meet for its monthly luncheon and ill-day session today at the Spink-Arms.
