Obituaries Milli ill i Lili 3nellie Jane Baney on april 4, 2011 Nellie Jane Baney reached the outstretched Anns of our lord and Savior. Bom May 7,1921 to the late Reuben and Mabel Peterson Behrer. Jane a up working on the family farm and graduated Fixman the warriors Maik fran school system in 1940. She then attended Juniata College where she graduated in 1944 with a degree in Home economics education. Her first teaching Job was at Dwight Mission a presbyterian owned school for the Cherokee reservation in Oklahoma. She made Many lifelong friendships from this experience. On july 22,1948 Jane married James Baney who preceded her in death january 13, 2009. They began their married life in Weston Oregon where Jane also taught and designed the Home economics department. In 1958 they moved Back to Pennsylvania where Jane wore Many Quot hats Quot. From tax collector to Bible school teacher to sunday school and most of All Mother of three. Jane treasured her Church family. She held Many offices within the Church and presbyterian Church Wrangen s organization. Jane is the last of her generation and was preceded in death by Brothers Alfred and John Behrer. Surviving Are her three children Grady Amy Baney of warriors Mark Mary Richard Baith of Elizabethtown pa., and Vida Quick Wheeland of Pennsylvania Furnace. Jane also is the proud grandmother of five sgt. First class Derek Sarah Baney of Texas Jared Nicole Baney of Tipton Erin Baney of Arlington va., Nicole Baith of ton my. And Rev. James Larissa Baith of Browning Montana. Also surviving Are two great grandchildren Domanic and Paige Baney. Jane s love of family friends and country were unmistakable. She had donated eight Gallons of blood in her lifetime and her fresh homemade oils were famous throughout the Valley. Her smile would brighten up any room and now she will be one of heaven s brightest stars. We love you very much mom. Funeral services will be held on saturday at 11 .
