Liquid fuels Money will for this program that will re pave and provide proper maintenance for Many Antis township roads. Bob Smith explained Quot this is Money that has been returned to the township by the state and we have held this Money Over a period of at least two or More years so As to be Able to Complete this paving project basically at no Cost to the local tax Lucas Martsolf also explained his future vision for the Street improvement program. Beginning Only a few months ago Martsolf did not have time to implement his ideas full for this 2011, however he is already moving for 2012. Quot next year and years following we certainly would like to have time to give All stakeholders the Public plenty of time and Opportunity to provide us with information in reference to which roads that we do ahead of time. So we can create a list from All stakeholders and then use a certain process in reference to what Are the most needed roads to be improved. Martsolf also addressed a complaint that was brought to the attention of the Board. Over the past few months the township has been looking into improving traffic safety concerning the Light on River Road and sr220 due to a complaint by a resident. Quot basically All the safety features that can be there Are there. Penn Dot said since the installation of the Light which i believe is 15 to 20 years this is the first complaint they have had on the Light Quot Martsolf to the Board. The Only extra safety feature that could be added would be an extra Light located beneath the existing Light. The Cost and maintenance of this would be up to the township. No decision was made regarding the Light. The Board will Monitor the intersection More closely and revisit this Issue when More information has been gathered. Township solicitor Patrick Fanelli brought Resolution no. 2-2011 to the Board establishing local limits for the introduction of pollutants of concern to the Public sewer system. This action was brought to the Board by request from Tyrone Borough which has been asked by Epa to Quot Epa in essence is making Tyrone make you do this so my recommendation is to adopt the Resolution As submitted Quot the solicitor said. The Board passed the Resolution.
