Three or four fire fights were reported in the area some 325 Yards below the South tape just North of the Itjin Katusa a fourth Mem Ber of the fire team in the american position was reported in fair condition monday. Weapons found in the wooded terrain around the position indicated that several North koreans May have been wounded in the attack. The three americans were the first killed by North Korea actions since May 22 when a Billet of a co., 1st bn., 23rd inf., 2nd inf. Div., was blowup killing two and wounding 16 americans. A total of 18 americans have been reported wounded in action this year. Names of the three soldiers flood control unit planned Seoul is a flood control unit manned by 245,603 policemen fire fighters and local government officials will be organized to help keep flood damages to a minimum a korean National police spokesman said. The unit will train people Liv ing in places in danger of flood during the Long Rainy season in evacuation and drowning prevention techniques. The nation Al police will furnish helicopters to lift evacuees. Peterson Catholic chaplain of the Ascom District and Kang min Lee Inchon superintendent of Educa Tion the seminar provided for three Days of two hour instruction blocks on traffic safety. The teachers were representing the elementary Middle and High schools from the Inchon area. The classes covered both the traffic safety. Four of the five lectures were Given by Eun Soo Kim of the safety office Ina com depot. Kim began the series july 7with an hour lecture of the importance of traffic safety. Donlon who became com mandant of Acta in june received the n a t i o n s highest award for directing the defense of a special forces Camp at Nam Dong Vietnam july 6, 1964. President Johnson presented him with the medal at the White House five months after the fight during which Donlon head of a special forces a team fought his Way through a Hail of Small arms and exploding hand grenades to abort a breach in the main Gate of his Camp.
