Sharon was born to Cecil and Wilma Cornein Buchholz on nov. 20. 1938. In Ottumwa. She received her education from Ottumwa schools on May 21. 1956, Sharon was United in marriage to Harold Russell in Leando. To this Union were four children Janie Sharon. John and Gary. Sharon was a homemaker throughout her life. Her Job was to keep the family organized and she was great. In her spare time Sharon loved being outside when weather permitted. She loved Bird watching gardening and visiting with the family. She also found enjoyment in sewing and was an avid card player she belonged to several card clubs. Sharon also enjoyed her class of 1957 Ottumwa High school activities and reunions. Survivors include her husband of 59 years Harold Russell of Drakesville four children Janie Scott of Centerville. Sharon Roland Larry of Drakesville John Russell Vicki of Anderson South Carolina Gary Russell of Drakesville six grandchildren nine great grandchildren two Brothers. Walter Bud Buchholz Lavetta of Ottumwa. Dean Buchholz of it. Myers Beach. Florida and Many nieces and nephews she was preceded in death by her parents great grandson. Garrett Cox sister. Michael Dean Ross son of Donald and Helen Shaffer Ross was born May 7, 1952, in Ottumwa. Mike graduated from Cardinal High school in 1970 and began working construction. He left Batavia for a few years while working in South Carolina and Colorado but eventually returned Home. With the help of some Mutual friends. Mike met and fell in love with Connie Heckenberg. They were partners in life for Many years getting married on March 27,1992, in Jefferson county. He took on the role of proud father with the birth of their son. Cody. Mike had both skill and work ethic which made him a valued employee. When he returned to Iowa he worked for a Nicolls Concrete out of Des Moines and then brewing Ion amp sons of Batavia. He was working there when his declining health forced him to step Back. When Mike Wasny to working he enjoyed being Home with his family. He would find time to work on his old truck and had a special place in his heart for his dogs especially his old buddy Shadow. As Michael s health declined and he was unable to do some of the physical things he began Reading Western novels. Mike will be deeply missed by his family and those who called him Friend.
