Netta Andrews returned to Winnipeg Sunday, after a thre weeks vacation with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Smith of Brumlee spent Sunday in town, Bobby Crookshanks and Gervyn Miller returned home with them. Mrs. Preston (nee Katie His cock) spent a few days with Mrs. G. Plante. The Junior Ladies Aid will hold their regular meeting in the lab Room on Monday evening, July 12th, at 8 p.m. Mrs. McDonnell, of Indian Head, Sask, is visiting with her brother, Alex Sinclair. Mrs. May Craig and Edna, of Red Deer, Alta., are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Fardell, en route to Toronto and St. Catherines Onr. Percy Armstrong of Winnipeg, paid a surprise visit to his mother this weekend. Roy Paisner of Saskatoon is holidaying with his parents Mr. and Mrs. L. Paisner. Mr. and Mrs. John Elvers of Red Deer Alta. are visiting rel atives and friends in the district. Mrs. Copeland and family of Grandview visited with Mrs. Plant this past week. Mrs. Wm. Adams of Neepawa, is renewing aquaintances in the district. Mrs. L. McFarlene and Calvin are holidaying with Mr. and Mrs T. H. Alexander. Edith Craig returned to her home here on Saturday to spend her vacation with her parents Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Craig. Mrs. Alex Wilson of Swan River is a visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Menzie. Valarie Wilson of Swan River has been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Menzie for the past two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Stitt and family are spending their vaca tion with Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Stitt. Woytowich are spend wigther vacations at their re spective homes here. Miss Gwen Hullick went in to Winnipeg Thursday morning to attend the short-term Norms course prior to king a school. A large crowd attended six of the new open air dance hall at Arrow Lake last Tuesday and tripped the light fantastic to the music of th e idler orchestra. Quite a number of the young people of the district took in the Sports at Elphinstone on July 11. Mr. W. Miller and Mrs. T. Miller motored to Sandy Lake on Sunday and brought home Mrs W. Miller and children who had been spending a few days there. Misses Iris MacDonald, Sylvia Mackadenski, Joyce Sitke Mur iel Alexander, Marlene Hamilton, and Reta Stitt have rented a bin at Clear Lake and are spending the first part of their vacation together there. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Brown on the birth of a aby boy on July 2nd, at Ross burn Hospital. Mr. Steve Woychasin has begun work on the basement and found ation, prior to moving the house which he has bought, into town Mr. and Mrs. B.
