Martha Greyhorse Our mother, grandmother and sister, Martha Greyhorse, 62, of Fruitland, went home to our heav enly Father on Sunday, June 29, 1997, after a lengthy illness. She was born on July 23, 1934, in Albu querque, and was a lifelong resident in the Nenahnezad area. She was of the Taachnee’ clan. Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Guy Greyhorse of Fruit land; three brothers, Alvin Duncan of ‘Phoenix, Ariz., Leroy Duncan and wife Melba of Fruitland, and Phillip Duncan and wife Bernice of ‘Parmington; three sons, David ‘Greyhorse, Melvin Greyhorse and wife Cathy, all of Kirtland, and Wallace Duncan, Jr., and wife Mary of Sanastee; five daughters, Mar jorie Scott and husband Gilbert, Margaret Mike and husband William, all of Fruitland, Lorraine G. Sam and Darlene Wade, both of Kirtland, and Lisa Alcon of Aztec; 25 grandchildren, and one great old. She was preceded in death by one son, Ferdie Greyhorse, and her mother, Margaret Duncan. Martha loved to sew quilts and make her own clothes. She also loved gardening and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed. _. Funeral services are pending with Chapel of Memories Funeral s Home in Kirtland. Gearld Chick Kelloff Gearld Chick Kelloff, 65, of Farmington died Sunday, June 29, 1997, after a lengthy illness. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 1997, at the church, with the Rev. Timothy W. Farrell, celebrant. Burial will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. Kelloff was born Nov. 21, 1931, St. Antonito, Colo. He graduated from Antonito High School and attended Creighton College for two years. He moved to San Juan Coun ty in 1950. He married his wife, Mary, on Feb. 25, 1954. He was retired and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He is survived by his wife, Mary A. Kelloff; daughters, Pamela L. Warmer and Lynda M. Dahl; sister, Pauline Malouf; brother, Francis Kelloff; six grandchildren, Jason, Nikki and Sean Pechek, Mariayna Bates, T.J. Dahl and Nikki Belacas tro; and numerous other family members. Kathryn M. Nordstrom Kathryn M. Nordstrom passed away on June 28, 1997. She was born in Arkansas City, Kan., on May 25, 1915. Kathryn spent most of her life in New Mexico, living in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Farm ington. Affectionately known as “Katie,” her love and devotion for her husband and family, her ever graceful charm and keen wit, and her outgoing and friendly disposi tion grace the memories of her fam ily and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, and daughter, Sandra, and is survived by her daughter, Willetta Lamoreux and husband, Denton, of Farmington, and son, Frank Nordstrom and his wife, Joan, of Santa Fe. Katie has five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Other survivors include brothers Ted, Lyle, Warren and Eugene Wilson, as well as the ever loving extended Nordstrom family. Cremation has taken place, and memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Emmanuel Bap tist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Northwest New Mexico Hospice, 608 Reilly Ave., Farmington. Jerry Lee Turman Jerry Lee Turman, 40, of Reno, Nev., died Wednesday, June 25, 1997, in Reno. Turman was born Oct. 23, 1956, in Dos Palos, Calif. He was employed by Fundis Trucking Co. of Reno at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Turman of Reno; daughters, Erin Turman and Ashlee Turman, both of Reno; parents, Vivian (Ven tura) and Tom Turman of Safford, Ariz.; parents-in-law, Jim and Carol Spangler of Fruitland; sisters, Margie Dozier and husband, Joel, of Tucson, Ariz., and Debbie Mar tinez of Farmington; brother-in-law, Steve Spangler and wife, Kellie, of Holbrook, Ariz.; and all his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, at Ertel Memor ial Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 1997, at Ertel Memorial Chapel in Cortez. Burial will be in the Cahone Cemetery in Cahone, Colo. Contributions can be made in Jerry Turman’s name at Citizens Bank of Farmington. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Erie Funeral Home in Cortez, (970)565-3468. W.H. ‘Bill’ Tuttle W.H. “Bill” Tuttle, 75, of Bloomfield passed on to be with the Lord June 27, 1997. Services will be Tuesday, July 1, 1997, at the Emmanuel Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, with military graveside services by VFW Post 2182 and the Masonic Lodge. Arrangements are under the direction of Cope Memorial Chapel.
