The mee.-Sng was called to order, and B. FREE-MAN, Esq, chosen President, and Wi Gians, Esq., Secretary. The object lt;j)f the meeting being stated, the following nominations for county officers were Unanimously adopted; jBenjamin Colegrove, Commissioner, David Crow, Treasurer,William Case, Auditor, (3 years), Samuel Smith, do. (I year), Jedediau Darling, Coroner.When on motion,Resolved, That a committee of five be appointed by the Chair to draft ^solutions for the express purpose of the meeting, whereupon J. Darling, F, A. Freeman, C. Taylor, C. Moses, D.Hpl-eomb were appointed said committee. The committee retired, and the meeting was addressed by Benjamin Bartholomew and Samuel P. Johnson,— The committee reported the following resolutions;Resolved, That we deeply la merit the afflictive dispensation of Providence
