Reed Rejoins Tar Heels; Jurgensen Hurt At DukeRALEIGH (UP) — North Carolina Coach Jim Tatum is going to cash in bluecaip quarterback Jim Reed in an effort to come up will! a winning hand against South Carolina Saturday.Tatum, whose football team thusfar hasn’t done as well as the oneGeorge Barclay was fired for pro duoing, also desperately juggled players in an effort to end his losing streak.Reed returned to practice Monday and ran the first team m scrimmages. Reed was injured in the first days of fall practice and Taitum announced he would hold him out the entire season to save a year of eligibility.
