Officials of the steel company said that the Florida broke all records for the bay. the maximum speed ou the trip beiDg 21 miles an hour. The Florida is called the Queen of theChesapeake.The new steamer passed out of the harbor shortly after 10 A. M. and proceeded toward the bay. The engines were running smoothly, and when she passed FortCarroll she wag going at a lively rate. After passing the numerous dredges at the mouth of the river the orders were to give the engines all the steam they could carry.
