LILLIAN MURIEL BROOKPeacefully on Friday, June 9, 1989 at the Portage General Hospital, Lillian Muriel Brook, of $40 Mobile St., Portage la Prairie, widow of the late Henry Harris (Harry) Brook, passed away at the' age of 72 years.Funeral service will he held in the Chapel of the Omega Funeral Home, Portage la Prairie, on Wednesday, June 14 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Russell Young officiating. The service will terminate at the chapel followed by cremation, In-terment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date in the family plot at Hillside Cemetery.Predeceased by her husband Harry in 1974; one daughter Beverly in 1958 and one infant grandson; two sisters, Barbara Switner and Vera Fraser. She leaves to mourn her passing her three sons, Hal and Audrey Trimble, Tom and Ida Trimble and Stephen Brook, all of Portage; six daughters, Mary Trimble of Portage, Gail and John Lazarenko of Winnipeg, Patricia and Ken Perry, Sharon and Alf Pratt, Gladys and Barry Green and Opal and Willard Barnes, alt of Portage; 22 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Also surviving are one brother John Harden and sister-in-law Vera of Kelowna, B.C.; two sisters, Lillian Young of Cayley, Aita., Bertha and brother-in-law Russell Wisbart of Edmonton; brother-in-law Louie Switner of Mirror, Alta.; sister-in-law Tina Brook of Portage and several nieces and nephews.Friends may call at the Funeral Home for visitation on Tuesday evening from 7:38 to 8:30 p.m.Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Portage District General Hospital Foundation, 524 5th St. S.E., Portage la Prairie, Man.
