JOSEPH A. (BEGGI) HELGASONAccidentally on July 10, 1874 near Upsala, Ont., Mr. Joseph A r n b e r g (Beggi) Helgason, aged 68 years, o£ Letellier, Man. and formerly of Gimli, Man. beloved husband of Helen Helgason who also died as a result of the accident. Funeral service will be held in the Gimli Lutheran Church on Monday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ingthor lsfeld officiating. Interment in the Gimli Community Cemetery. Born and raised in the Interlake, Beggi had resided in Gimli for 65 years prior to moving to Letellier three years ago. He was predeceased b y his first wife Dorothy(Dody) in 1967 and leaves surviving three daughters Mrs. Dorothy Stevens of Gimli, Mrs. Donald Martin (Bennetta) of Brandon, Mrs. Harold Cockerill (Joan) of Manassas, Virginia,two sons, Clarence of Princess Harbor, Man., Arnold of Fort McMunay, Alta., two brothers Jim of Selkirk, Steini of Riverton, and 18 grandchildren. A joint prayer service for both Mr. and Mrs. Helgason will be held in the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons St. St. jBoniface on Sunday evening at! 7:30 p.m. Giibart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
