Chester Mahaffey Jr., 77Jan. 22, 2007Chester Mahaffey, Jr., age 77 years, of Bay City, MI., died Monday, January 22,2007, at the Bay Regional Medical Center.He was born on April 12,1929 in Williamsport, Pa. to the late Chester and Clara (Moore) Mahaffey. Sr.Chester earned his Masters Degree from Bucknell University and received his Doctorate of Education from Penn State University. He was a former professor at Northwood University. Chester was an advisor and contributor to the Michigan Organization of DECA.Surviving are his three children, Robert, Jeffrey and Sharon Mahaffey and his former wife, Shawna Mahaffey.Memorial contributions may be directed to the Humane Society of Bay or Saginaw County. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services at the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel.
