E Brock chief staff for the league in California said plans for a campaign to raise funds for the monument will be inaugurated soon Meanwhile he said league members have financed the erection of a flag pole on the plaza The pole will be put in place soon he declared Tentative plans Brock said are for a civic campaign to raise funds for the monument which will carry statues of a soldier sailor and a marine done in bronze The flagpole which will be erect ed at a date to be named later wilt be supervised by members of the Marine Corps League Members will raise and lower the colors on national
