The state police sub station also without Power put its own emergency Generator into service enabling the trooper Headquarters to remain in service throughout the emergency. A similar unit supplied Power to the Airport until .s.e.& g. Repair Crews could make the necessary replacements. Repair Crews of the Utility firm were on the scene soon after the crash Clearing away the tangled electric lines and replacing the pole ripped out in front of the sub station. The Crews were working in sub Zero cold scant feet away from the burning air plane. Power in the area was restored within a few hours.
