At the same time Eugene Kavanagh superintendent of the District announced tentative school assignments for the 26 participating school districts in Hamilton and Clermont counties. Hamilton county joint vocational District has optioned a site in Clermont county about three Miles East of Milford for one of the District schools. The site consists of 116 acres on buckwheat rd., near Ohio 28, now owned by Joseph and Albert Nordlow of Terrance Park. It is about two Miles from the Point where the Circle freeway crosses route 28. The Eastern site in Clermont county Vas confirmed tuesday. The school District has until mar. 1 to exercise its option. Other possible Sites Are also being considered. The school to be built Clermont county will be one of three planned by the he Josd and will serve 1,650 students from Eastern Hamilton county As Well As Milford Loveland Goshen northeastern Clermont county and Batavia. The Board has been to train educational aides Hamilton county a joint vocational school District will inaugurate a vocational program for the training of secondary instruction educational aides commencing with the 1971-72 school year. The program will be financed by the state department of vocational education and will be designed to give Junior and senior students an Opportunity to acquire knowledge and technical skills needed for employment As instructor aides in the Field of secondary education. Upon completion of training the aides will act As assistants to school hours daily in class work related to the occupation. Provisions for on the Job training will be made during the senior year. The Laboratory for the training will be located in a remodeler Wing of the a Civ administrative building in Sharonville. First year enrolment w i 11 be limited to about 20 Junior students from the 26 participating districts.
