Mora than 100 firms and 53 makes of Power vehicles represented. Power vehicles of All Type took part in the motor truck Parade yesterday and the display was an impressive lesson on the Valu it of the commercial be Hecla nearly 500 motor trucks of All descriptions passed in review the entire Lebirth of the route from Battery Park to 125th Street forming a line of Modem trucks extending a distance of nearly two Miles. The Parade which was held under the management of the motor truck club was a revelation to the Public of the giant strides which Are taking i lace in the evolution of Power transportation vehicles. Entries were received up to the Start a Vamp ave u la Guog ing time and As a result the committee experienced considerable difficulty in keeping the original divisions intact it was intended to Start the Parade at 1 of clock the usual time for the afternoon deliveries but the head of the column did not get under Way until one hour after the scheduled time. For a time there was some slight confusion in and around Battery Park but chief marshal Curtis and his assistants lost no time in arranging for the vehicles to get into the places assigned to the entrants. It was an impressive business Many a display and although lacking some of the play Ana amino gun lacking some of one a spectacular thet frequently attaches to a i. Parade there were several object it lessons a afforded the students of transportation. I one of the novelties of the Parade and one that attracted general attention was Adams express company wagons equipped a with Cox pneumatic Springs Whelch not Only performs the function of a Spring but also performs the function of a Shock absorber and under Ordinary conditions a obviates the necessity for anti skid de vices As has been proved by experience.
