I ois Heirt/ler, of New Braunfels, Russell away at Ellen Home Friday, Sept. 15,1W5 at the age of SS. She was born Dec. 31,11HH> in Ethel, La. and retired to New Braunfels in D)78 after having worked as Secretary to the State Veterinarian of Louisiana for 25 years. She attended Northeast Bible Church and was a resident of Eden Home at the time of her death.
Survivors include her daughter. Nancy Stone Brown and husband Dr. William K. Brown, of Brownwood. Texas; granddaughter, Kelli Brown Kensing and husband Tim Kensing, of New Braunfels; grandson. Dr William Steven Brown and wife Julie Brown, of Ft. Worth; and great-grandchildren. Emili and Elizabeth Kensing. and Rebekah and Ben Brown.
A memorial service will be held at Northeast Bible Church. 19185 FVI 2252 in Garden Ridge, on Wednesday. Sept. 20 at 10:30 a.m.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Eden Home Ministries or to the chantv of
Mabel Rutherford, of New Braunfels, passed away Saturday. Sept. lh. 1995 at tho age of 89 Mrs Rutherford was bom in Runge. Texas on Sept 10. 190p to Nathan P. and Vida (Stephens) Dickey. She was very active in the First United Methodist Church until recently
Mrs Rutherford is survived by her daughter and son-in-law. Mabel Louise and Rufus Hall. of Wetumpka, Ala.; son and daughter-in-law. Britton Dickey and Barbara Rutherford, of Thousand Oaks. Calif.; daughter. Ann Vliet. of Virginia; son and daughter-in-law, James David and Barbara Rutherford, of New Braunfels; brothers. Nathan P Dickey Jr. and William E Dickey, of New Braunfels; sister. Mary Barron, of San Benito, Texas; ten grandchildren: 21 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs Rutherford was preceded in death by her husband of 54 Nears, Britton W. Rutherford, in 1978; sisters. Evelyn Barren and Wilma Dickey.
Funeral serv ices will be Tuesday. Sept.
19, at Zocller Funeral Home Chapel at I p.m. with interment following at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Visitation continues until service time Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Dickey Jr., William Dickey, Michael Rutherford, Vincent Butler, Robert Hall and John Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice New Braunfels, First United Methodist Church or to the chanty of one's choice.

J.J. Rutten, of New Braunfels, passed away Monday, Sept. 18, 1995 at Kirkwood Manor at the age of 91. A rosary will be recited at 12:30 p.m. Thursday. Sept. 21 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, followed by a mass at I p.m. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Msgr. Edward Bily will officiate the services. Visitation will be at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20. Memonals may be given to Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
