Police said they would have to wait until they receive autc) )sy results to verify the identity of the body. But McDonald said the vehicle is the same as Smith's and the license plates mate h.
Smith is belic'vc'd to have been driving an orange 2007 Dodge tru( k with the Texas license plate AVVOM)4().

Bum ban extended in Comal County

With wildfires burning across th(^ Hill Cx)untry, Comal C'oun-ty commissioners on Thursday extendc'd a burn ban that has been in etfect for most of the ycvir.
The extended drought has
not only contributc'd over the last few days to wildfires in Canyon Lake, ('amp Buliis/f .tir Oaks, Stone Oak and Bastrop, but has drivivn county's the drought index to 781, just siiort of th(‘ maximum 800.
