Plumb Family ChiropracUc is grounded in the philosophy that every man, woman, and child deserves the right to experience wellness at its opUmum. ChiropracUc is the branch of the healing arts that holds that health is dependant in part on a properly functioning nervous system and proper spinal alignment. A Chiropractor uses the adjustment as their primary form of treatment. This is a highly specitlc corrective force that is delivered into the patient’s spinal column to correct what is known as a subluxation. A subluxation of a vertebra can create an interference in the func-Uon of a spinal nerve and cause a problem in the muscles or organ that that particular nerve supplies. This interference can present itself in the form of pain. inflammaUon, decreased range of motion, or organ dysfunction. Along with adjusting. Dr. Plumb utilizes auxillary therapies such as a cold laser and spinal decompression to assist the paUent in pain control and to enhance the body's ability to heal. Cold laser is an excellent way to control pain associated with soft tissue injuries or arthritis. Studies also show a decrease in the recovery time of condiUons like sprained ankles and wounds with the use of the cold laser Uierapy. Spinal decompression is used to help those people with problems originaUng from disc hemiaUons and bulges. Dr. Plumb may also make recommendations about nutrition, exercise, and stress management, when appropriate. to assist his patients in enhancing their health. Chiropractic care is for everyone.
