She was bom on July 24, 1922, in Floresville to Ben Richardson and Mary (Fischer) Richardson. A longtime resident of New Braunfels, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Raymond Giesick in January 1982. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church while in New Braunfels and a member of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church while residing in San Antonio. She was a member of St. Ann’s Christian Mothers Society and the Women’s VFW Ladies Auxiliary. While a member of the VFW Auxiliary she served for years as a volunteer at the VA Hospital in San Antonio and received numerous awards for her hours of service. Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Gene Mann of San Antonio; sons, Ronnie Giesick of San Antonio and Howard Giesick of New Braunfels; granddaughter, Andrea Giesick-Hollomon and husband Casey of Austin; two sisters, Mildred Hamm and husband William "BilT'ofVictoria, Irene Brooks of San Marcos; and numerous nieces and nephews. LAVERNE MARGARET EARWOOD Laverne Margaret Ear-wood, age 79 of New Braunfels passed away Sunday October 5,2003, at Kirkwood Manor in New Braunfels. A Graveside Service will be conducted on Friday, Octo- JOEM. SCOTT Joe M. Scott went to be with his Lord on Sunday, October 5,2003. He was born November 8, 1926, in New Braunfels, TX, • to Clarence and Eddie Scott, now deceased. He was also preceded in death by his daughter. Nancy Louise I^Kcott. He is survived by his •’loving wife, Vivian Scott; AGNES MARIE CAPAX HORECKA SCHOELLMAN Agnes Marie Capak Horec-ka Schoellman, of New Braunfels, left our world to be with her Lord on October 4,2003, at the age of 94. A rosary was recited Tuesday Oct. 7,2003. at 7 p.m. at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in New Braunfels on Wednesday (October 8, 2003, at IO a.m. Interment will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to Sts. Peter and Paul Circle of Mary. She was a very caring and loving person. She loved life and had lots of dreams and never gave up hope on her dreams coming true. She loved her husband, kids and family, they were her life.
