farmstate Democrats reached agreement with Senate Republican leaders on provisions to soften future cuts In income subsidies by giving farmers government surplus com The 6128 vote culminated more than a month of acrimonious on offagain including five days of marathon sessions and dozens of backroom meetings to work out deals between competing farm commodity Its not a good farm but its onethird
