McDonald’s donates $660 to Comal IOO Club
McDonald’s Restaurant officials presented a donation to the Comal IOO Club Monday.
The club provides relief to family members of firefighters, peace officers or emergency medical technicians killed in the line of duty.
Mcdonald^ has a day every year where the restaurant agrees to dedicate two to three hours of its earnings to the club.
McDonald’s dedicated $660 in funds collected during busy lunch hours.

“It s just a very nice thing," said Sheila Earley, IOO club board member.
I he club is composed of volunteers and all the money collected by the group is immediately available for its intended purpose.
Members of the club donate $100 or more to the nonprofit.
"We are there the same day.” Earley said. "We don’t waste any time if something happens to one of our folks.”

Tickets on sale for TLU Vespers
Tickets to the annual Texas Lutheran University Vespers performances are now available. The concerts will be held at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 and Dec. 6. There will be a 4 p.m. matinee on Dec. 7. All performances will be in Jackson Auditorium on the TLU campus in Seguin. The performance is free, but tickets are required. Tickets may be picked up in person, or requested via e-mail, mail, telephone, or through the
TLU Web site.
