Dear Cable Customer,
Welcome to our Time Warner family! We are very happy to serve you! This is a progress report regarding our plans for improving cable service in New Braunfels.
Time Warner Cable is in the-process of upgrading the New Braunfels cable system. What will it mean to you? For starters, the new fiber optics will increase viewing options, improve picture quality, and improve overall plant reliability (this translates to fewer cable outages). Customers who subscribe to the Standard level of service will go from 33 channels to 59 channels, including such favorites as SciFi, biome St Garden, Lifetime, and ESPN2 without the need for a converter box or the purchase of a higher priced product package.
For those customers wanting even more channel choice, Time Warner Cable's digital cable service offers 19 additional channels plus 40 CD-quality, commercial-free music channels. You will no longer be required to have a phone line for digital service. Adding even more value are the additional premium services. This means when you buy digital HBO, for instance, you get six channels of HBO-twice as many as before. With Showtime you go from two channels on the old system up to seven with Time Warner digital cable.
For about $3 more, customers can go from 59 total video and music channels (your old digital tier level) to over 118 (plus 40 pay-per-view channels) with Time Warner's digital Lone Star package. The vast majority of New Braunfels customers are taking the new digital service.
Later this year Time Warner Cable will offer Rood Runner, high-speed Internet at up to IOO times faster than dial up! With Road Runner you don’t need an additional phone line, so you are always connected or you're "always on." No busy signals, disconnects, or contracts. Beep! Beep! We'll keep you informed as the launch draws near.
Overall, this upgrade will bring more channels, more choices, and better value to New Braunfels cable customers. The services offered, as well as the rates, will be the same as in San Antonio, which was recently upgraded and enjoys the new services now. You can check out all the details online at www.twc-sa.com.
Please be patient with us, as all cable customers will receive a 30-day notice by mail prior to the changes, which are expected to be completed by the end of summer. Time Warner Cable has technical staff in the area to perform the upgrade plus representatives going door to door to answer questions and adjust service levels. In those instances where we are not able to reach a customer to discuss the changes and their preferences, they will still be upgraded and will receive the level of service that is comparable to what they had.
Thank you for choosing Time Warner Cable. We'll be in touch!Welcome to What's Next
