Hochanadel is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in geology. She is a Petroleum Geologist with the Samedan Oil Corp. of Denver. Her fiance is also a graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in history. He is a sales representative with Brass Smith Inc. of Denver. She is a member of CKI, which is sponsored by Kiwanis, and Omicron Delta Epsilon, an economics honor society. She plans on attending law school in the fall. The future bridegroom is the son of Gloria and Preston Overstreet and Wayne and LaDonna Jones. He is a 1990 graduate of Canyon High School and graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1996 with a bachelor of social work and bachelor of arts in psychology. He is a member of CKI and Phi Theta Kappa. He is employed by ARC of Capital Area in Austin. The couple plans a June 5, 1997 wedding at Rose Emporium in Independence, Texas. In tile presence of their families, Jonell Edwards Bartrug and Lloyd M. Pape were united in marriage on May 3, 1997 at Friedens United Church of Christ in Geronimo, Texas. The Rev. Ardie Kendig officiated. Childhood friends of the couple, Elizabeth and Jim Minikin of Beeville served as their attendants. Mr. and Mrs. Pape both graduated from Blanco High School in 1947-She attended the University of Texas and has a registered nursing degree. She is retired from the V A. Medical Center in Waco. Mr. Pape received his degree from Texas A&M University and was employed several years at the Soil Conservation Service. He served in the Korean conflict and is a retired Lt.
