Perfecto 'Pet' Hernandez
Perfecto “Pet” Hernandez, age 54, of New Braunfels, died Monday, May I,
1995 at his home. He was bom April 18, 1941 in New Braunfels to Felipe Hernandez and Andrea Lopez Hernandez. He married Juana Matamoros on April 21, 1960 in New Braunfels. He was a truck driver for Chemical Express and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He had also served in the United States Army.
Survivors are his wife, Juana M. Hernandez; step-mother, Gregona S. Hernandez, of San Antonio; daughters, Mary Ann Ramirez, Patricia Ann Hernandez and Andrea Hernandez, all of New Braunfels; sons, Roberto Hernandez, Pedro Hernandez and Rene
Hernandez, all of New Braunfels; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Cresiano and Roberto Hernandez.
Mr. Hr niandez is also survived by a special friend, Rebecca Mendoza.
A rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. at the Zoeller Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday at IO a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Oberstar as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Bill Sanders, Ramon Gonzales, Jimmy Matamoros, Pedro Matamoros, Al Alvarez, and Robert Ortiz. The procession will leave at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from the funeral home chapel.
Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Lorane Linne Kraft
Lorene Linne Kraft, of New Braunfels, passed away at her residence Tuesday. May 2, 1995 at the age of 82. She was bom June 4, 1912 in LaVer-nia, Texas to Alfred A. and Amanda (Haese) Linne and married Reinhold J. Kraft on Feb. 8, 1947. Her husband preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 1987.
Mrs. Kraft was a retired schoolteacher, having taught at Carl Schurz Elementary for 4 years, Schumans-
ville for IO years, and in the Comal I SD for 21 years. She was a member of Bluebonnet Grange, the Retired Teachers Association, Delta Kappa Gamma, and Goodwin Extension Homemakers. She was also a member of the First Protestant United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her sons, Jackie Kraft and wife Mac, of New Braunfels, and Charles Kraft and wife Barbara, of Houston; grandchildren, Peggy Meckel and husband David, Greg Kraft and wife Pam, and David Kraft, all of New Braunfels, and K.C. Kraft and wife Lisa, of Norman, Okla., Elizabeth Ketchum and husband Bill, of Chickasha, Okla., and Katherine Mulvey and husband Bobby, of Houston; greatgrandchildren, Sarah Meckel, Cassandra Kraft, Maitlyn Kraft and Sarah Ketchum; two sisters-in-law, Mary Linne of Dublin, Texas, and Adeline Linne, of LaVemia, Texas; and one brother-in-law, Henry Zimmermann, of San Antonio.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 4, 1995 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Protestant United Church of Christ with Rev. Daryl Higgins officiating. Interment will follow at the Comal Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 12 noon Wednesday and continue until 9 a.m. Thursday at the Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the First Protestant United Church of Christ or to the charity of one’s choice.

■ Ambrosio Valdez, 53, of 1553 W. Bridge St. in New Braunfels, was charged with public intoxication April 15.
■ Roberto Hernandez, 34, of 1911 Eastlawn in New Braunfels, was charged with public intoxication April
■ Justin Altgelt, 21, of 491 Beaty in New Braunfels, was charged with traffic violations April 16.
■ Bill Williams, 44, of 260 Comal in New Braunfels, was charged with public intoxication April 16.
■ Mark Santivanez, 18, of 7443 Windbridge in San Antonio, was charged with weapons possession April
■ Jose Gomez, 19, of 561 AB Rt. 2 in New Braunfels, was charged with traffic violations April 16.
■ Kenneth Vallejo, 19, of 215 McGaugh in New Braunfels, was charged with public intoxication April

■ Tammie Mathena, 29, New Braunfels, 4-28-95, 9:10 a.m. at the Comal County Courthouse, 4 warrants; Bexar Co. DW1, 2nd offense, $5,000 bond, Bexar Co., major misdemeanor theft, $600, two warrants for bad checks out of JP Pct. I, Comal Co. Dep. John Carmichael.
■ Evette King, 23, Canyon Lake, 4-29-95, 6:01 a.m. at Startz Cafe, Startzville, possession of narcotic para-phenalia. Dep. James Grunden.
