Chief Financial Officer Mike Vollmer reported that, as of the end of February, PEC’s controllable expenses were $3 million less than what the Co-op had budgeted for in 2011. “We continue to watch controllable expenses very carefully,” Vollmer said, “and we continue to add total assets month after month.” Vollmer said a majority of the increase is because of the addition to distribution system assets, which is coming from PEC’s construction program to meet new customer demand. The directors focused on two key governance issues. First, the board agreed to amend the section of the bylaws defining the qualifications to serve as a director. This amended language will be posted on PEC’s website for member comment and will be considered for passage at the April board meeting. Second, they approved language for the 2011 election ballot. This ballot will give members an opportunity to provide input which will be Heart of Texas Cremations Direct Cremation $775.00 (Complete) 877-271-0507 Call or see website for details •• •• ' 'SFl •• March 24th - 27th I i Thurs-Sat: 9am-6pm & Sun; 12pm-5pm X 14 tNHB4UJN* Toyhaulers fw from-$39,995* jm wêlêêêÊb (pvMfltjr «ation ftOOD s ¿Pm-2pm and Sun I« IV## Doot IhdUs#s XVss Tifud# Appraisals Free PajrJdx&g Offering: WiÊtÊtÊtÊÊtÊIÊWÈÊÊf Kingsport Ttmil introducing tti med Canyon Ti *Plus tax, tag and title.
