The future bridegroom is the son of Edy Whitmore of San Antonio and Sherrie Whitmore of Odessa, Texas. He graduated from Odessa High School and currently attends San Antonio College. He is employed at Wal-Mart Supercenter as a sales associate.
The couple plans an April 12, 1997, wedding at Peace Lutheran Church in New Braunfels.

Miss Rogers is a 1988 graduate of New Braunfels High School and a 1992 graduate of Text! AAM University. She received a bachelor of arts in communications with a minor in marketing and is currently employed by Trinity University in San Antonio as a development officer.
Mr. Dunn is a 1987 graduate of Beeville High School and a 1991 graduate of Baylor University. He completed his juris doctorate in 1994 from Baylor's School of Law and is currently employed by Clemens and Spencer in San Antonio as an attorney.
The couple plans a May 17 family wedding in San Antonio at the Alamo Heights United Methodist Garden Chapel.
