New Braunfels is participating in the New Braunfels-Canyon tournament today.NB organizing team for Senior Games Registration for the New Braunfels team in the Texas Senior Games will be held March 25-29 at the Senior Citizens Center, 142 S. Comal Ave. Registration will be from I p.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The Senior Games will be held in Arlington May 15-18, and events are golf, softball, track and field, dance, horseshoes, bridge, dominoes, ping pong, swimming, bicycling, billiards, checkers, racquetball, tennis, walk-a-thon, basketball free throw, washer pitching and 5- and 10-kilometer races. “Tumverein Braunfels” has been selected as the team name, honoring the first athletic club organized in the city on July 1,1855.
