New Braunfels Newcomers Club WM hold its installation of officers luncheon, Tuesday, March 7 at 11:30 am. at the Northdiffe Country Club. Lunch is $7 per person, including tax and tip. San Antonio St. Sister Faye Long of the Reflection Picture Book Committee will give the Friendship Program. Downtown Association of New Braunfels will hold its next regular monthly meeting Tuesday, March 7 at 7 arn at the Faust Hotel where there will be a breakfast buffet in the Abbey private dining room. The program, Traffic and Signage in Downtown New Braunfels, will be presented by David Kopp, resident engineer at the Texas Department of Transportation. Al mem bers and prospective members invited. The Fraternal Order of Eagles #2999 Auxiliary By-Law Committee will have the first reading, March 7, on changing the day of the meetings from Tuesdays to Mondays. Second reading, March 21st and third reading April New Braunfels German-American Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, at the Bavarian Village Restaurant, 212 W. Austin St. Dr. Ted Gish, professor of German at the University of Houston will be guest speaker. New members always welcome. Door prizes wiH be awarded. The Eagle Auxiliary wi meet Tuesday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. Officers at 7 p.m. All members urged to attend as there will be a discussion of a change to the by laws and delegates to the state convention in Waco in June will be elected. Mission Valley Family and Community Education Club meets March 7 at the Extension Mooting Room. Mrs. Eva Pfeiffer will be hostess. The Comal County Genealogy Society meets March 7 at the Victoria Bank and Trust North Building at 7:30 p.m. Speaker Professor Theodore Gist, professor of German at the University of Houston. He will talk about the Diary of Prince Sahm. The 'Footsteps' publication will be passed out to members. The public is invited to attend the meeting.
