Man 6th drowning at Canyon Lake in 11

He said C'jarcia had Ixvn swimming with friends when he and a female headed toward a tree in the lake. The female's mother calk'd to her to come back, which she did, Reynolds said, but Gare la continucx].
After a few moments, Ciar-cia began bobbing in the water and yelled for help, Reynolds said. He said Ciar-cia's friends thought he was joking but c^uickly realizcHi he was serious. Garcia had gone under by the time his friends reached him, Reynolds said.

Canyon l ake has seen five other drownings this year.

HEB has issued a recall on several HEB brand dairy products sold in its stores between June 18 and July 27.
Store concerned about possible ‘foreign material’

HEB has issuc'd a c om-[lany-wide precautionary rc'call of certa in lUB Brand dairy produc ts out of (lossible fear that some (orodiK ts might contain "foreign material."
Recalled products iiiclude 8-ounce, 16-ounce, 24-ounce and Ì2-ounce sizes of FIEB Brand cottage cheese, dips, yogurt and sour cream sold between lune 18 and luly 27.
The prcxJuc ts were sold at HFB, Central Market, Mi Lienda and |oe V's.
Four-ounce and 6-ounce sizes are not affec ted by the recall.

In New Braunfels, the produc is were being pulled from store shelves at the two local HEBs beginn ing Wc'dnesday.
The voluntary recall began when a customer returned a product thought to contain a foreign substance, said Lauren Hendc'r-son, operations leader at the-1 lEB at Texas Hwy. 46 and Loop 5 i7.
"But 1 don't know what store or location the product came from or where it was returned. 1 |ust know it was made from the same line."
