btiard on the controversial topic of where to build a new elementary school Comal Inde pendent School District trustees are scheduled to meet 6 Wednesday at the CISD human resource services build ing 1419 N Business 35 to discuss buying land for new schools Krueger said possible land sites for a new elementary school in the US 281 and Cibolo Creek area would be discussed will discuss buying land in closed session No action will be taKen at the meeting At the heart of the board split is a piece of land offBorgfeld Road on the west side of 281 in Beyar County Three trustees and many CISD patrons want the district to build a new elementary school there but four trustees want the district to consider other locations Trustees John Bertelsen Lester W Jonas and Dora Gonzales are in favor of building the school on the east side of 281 which is part of a proposed alternative bond plan by Bertelsen Bertelsens plan includes moving the new elementary school to the east side of 281 and a new high school to the west side of 281 He said the plan would solve wfiat he saw as problems such asltransportation and school feed er patterns with the current bond The board agenda states trustees
