charter recall petition submitted By Suzanne Staff Writer District 6 Councilman Ken Valentine lost a bid Monday night to introduce an ordinance to change the New Braunfels city charters recall The city council unani mously voted down the proposed ordinance Valen tine recused himself from the discussion and Valentine said the current city charter doesnt allow him a way to defend him self against the charges on a recall petition that was filed with Monday City Secretary Michael Resendez said the petition has 600 signatures but he needs to verify at least 221 are registered voters living in
