Braunfels City Council spent several hours deliberating a million decision on Their consensus was to approve a tax increment reinvestment zone plan that could trigger more than 400 acres of development worth a projected million to the local tax For the seven council this could be the XT single largest decision they New tax dollars j as dlys leadership will fund road i As well as paving the way and drainage for a deal that should see the largest commercial develop ment ever to come to New it has obtained land for a new northside fire station and established a mechanism to clean up the drainage problem that plagues land north of FarmtoMarket 306 at Interstate We commend the council for making sure they cut a deal they believe the city can live With devel opers frequently
