Organizers for the 1994 Comal County Pork Chop Club are seeking members. The group was formed last year to ensure that all the swine exhibitors in the Comal County Junior Livestock Show Auction sale receive a fair price for their hogs. Richard Rosenberg will serve as guest conductor and percussionist Sherry Smith will be the featured soloist when the Mid-Texas Symphony presents its Sunday, Feb. 20 concert at 4 pm. in the New Braunfels Civic Center. There are more species in danger of
going extinct today than when the
dinosaurs disappeared. The park ranger will explain the reasons at the next Nature's Way: Animals in Danger. During he program, you will also 9ee and learn about the endangered species that live in the park. Program is open to ages five to 13. The Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce will hold its 1994 membership drive Feb. 22 to 24. More than 60 Blue Coat volunteers will call on businesses during the three-day blitz to sell memberships. The goal is $20,000 in new dues and IOO new members.

Polishing Old Sones
Feb. 24 at 7:30 pm the New Braunfels Conservation Society will host Carol and Gerry Belton, giving a program on Polishing Old Bones. They will share their experiences about renovating and restoring their historic home. Public invited.
The President’s Ball, sponsored by the New Braunfels Newcomers Club, will be held Sunday, Feb. 27 at the Senior Center. Dinner, catered by Clear Springs, will be served at 6 pm. Dancing to the music of the Blue Notes will be from 7 pm. to IO pm. BYOB with free setups. Tickets are $12 for dinner and dancing, or $9 for just the dinner. Polly Johnson is sponsoring a benefit bridge tournament March 5. The event will be at the New Braunfels Elks Lodge at 9 am. and lasting until 4:30 pm. There will be rolls and coffee in the morning, with lunch served at noon. The afternoon will have cake
