Texas_Page 5 Appreciation and support Comal County A&M Mothers Club held an Aggie Dad Appreciation Banquet Feb. 4. Kerry Cox, a junior yell leader from Texas A&M, was the speaker. He talked about traditions at A&M and led the group in yell practice. The group gathered for a photograph to be included in cards that are being sent to as many Aggies involved in Desert Storm as possible. New Braunfels Middle School sixth graders also have included letters to the Aggies with messages such as "sorry I’m a Longhorn fan instead of an Aggie." (Photos by Karla Wenzel) Aggie Moms district meeting The Comal County Texas A&M University Mothers Club will host the 24th annual meeting of District VIII, Federation of Texas A&M University Mothers Clubs March 23. This year’s events will be held at Bavarian Village Restaurant and Biergarten. Registration is at 9 a.m. with get-acquainted hour to follow, along with a short business meeting and entertainment by Ed Kadlecek, and German dancers.
