Reading students in Millie Huber's program at Spring Branch Middle didn’t just illustrate the popular "The Polar Express" Christmas book, they quilted thgir drawings. The special quilt was then given to prefirst children in Kim Farlow's class from nearby Bill Brown Elementary to encourage them to read and appreciate books. The quilt was given in memory of Betty Cobb, a longtime educator in Comal and Seguin ISDs, who recently passed away from cancer. Farlow, left, accepted the quilt from Huber, right, during a special presentation that included Mrs. Claus reading "The Polar Express" to all of the students.
