Training leaders for our community
The Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Leadership New Braunfels program, which this year has 21 participants. The purpose of the program is to bring together individuals who wish to develop their leadership skills and learn more about their community. The schedule begins in October with a weekend retreat and continues with M-day sessions each month through May.
Susan Heidrich is Assistant Vice President at Texas Commerce Bank, where she serves as loan coordinator. She attended Southwest Texas State University and the Banking Institute. Susan is married to Danny and they have two children.
She enjoys water sports, movies and reading and volunteers with the Comal County Emergency Children's Shelter, where she is Treasurer. Susan alro is a member of tire Cross Lutheran Church, New Braunfels Conservation Society and the Chamber of Commerce. When asked how she felt Leadership New Braunfels would benefit her; Susan said that she expects to learn more about the city/county government and will meet other individuals

Dr. Randy Jacks is associated with Family Practice and received his MD. from the University of Texas. He is married and has two sons, Jordan and Benjamin.

Randy feels that he will benefit from the Leadership New Braunfels program by associating with business people from different walks of lift and that he will improve his leadership abilities both in his practice and locally.
Parents Without Partners searches for former members for reunion
Parents Without Partners Hill Country Chapter #1273 serving New Braunfels, San Marcos, Seguin and the Canyon Lake area will be hosting the central Texas regional #74 conference corotating of the following chapters; Killeen, Austin, New Braunfks, San Anfionkx Houston, Corpus Christi, Hartington and McAllen on Jan. 14, 15 and 16 at the Holiday Inn, New Braunfels.
Hill Country Chapter will also be hosting an Alumni Reunion Dance (past members, married and still single) on Friday evening, Jan. 14 at the Pear Club, Holiday Inn from 8 p.m. to midnight. Cost will be $5.00 per person. The regional chapter #74 will be hosting an open to the public dance on Saturday evening from 9 p.m. to I am Jan. 15 at the Pear Dub. Cost will be $7.00. Music both nights will be a live band.
The local chapter (Hill Country #1273) is trying to find the following persons (listed below) who are fbriner members to notify them of the dance on Friday the 14th.
