Festtage in New Braunfels Christmas cards are available to the public.
“Due to many requests, last year's colorful Calendar of Events card, depicting the Downtown Plaza complete with Christmas decorations, has been reprinted this year as a Christmas card,” said Marion Benson, chair of Festtage in New Braunfels.
Each year, the previous year's Calendar of Events card will be retired to become a Christmas card.
The beautiful 5-inch-by-7-inch cards are being sold in packages of 12 cards, complete with 12 envelopes for $10 a package.
The cards are handsomely printed in bright Christmas colors and varnished for preservation.
“This is a great way to support the Festtage program and share the beauty of our community with others
during the holiday season,” Benson said. “The sale of the cards is a fund-raising effort by the Festtage Committee. Profits from the cards will go into the Christmas lighting fund of Festtage in New Braunfels/Braunfels Foundation Trust.”
Cards may be purchased at the following locations: The Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce; The Hummel Museum; China-n-Things; The Children’s Museum in New Braunfels; Collected Memories; Sundance Golf Course; Johnson Furniture Co.; The Collection; Accents; Sophienburg Museum and Archives; New Braunfels Penny Saver; Gaylynn’s Creations; The Museum of Texas Handmade Furniture; The Gables (Gruene) and Cotton-Eyed Joes (Gruene).
