The Speedy Stop Exxon store on FM 2673 at Oblate received two surprise guestsTuesday when a semi-tractor pushed a pickup truck into the store. There were no injuries when the semi-tractor, which was parked on a hill across FM 2673, rolled across the street, missed the gas pumps outside the store by just inches and ran into the pickup truck, forcing both vehicles into the store.

Iraqis resuming charter talks
BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) — Sunni Arab leaders showed no sign of compromise Tuesday as they prepared to resume talks in yet another bid by the Shiite-led government to win approval of Iraq’s new constitution.
The U.S. ambassador said every effort must be made to win Sunni agreement, but the chairman of the drafting committee doubted that differences could be resolved quickly and suggested parliament might submit the current draft to voters.
Failure to win over the once-dominant minority would undercut the U.S. strategy of using the constitution to lure Sunni Arabs from the Sunni-dominated insurgency so American and other foreign troops could start to go home.
Representatives of the major factions — Shiites, Kurds and Sunnis — scheduled negotiations for Wednesday morning in the heavily guarded Green Zone after Sunnis angrily rejected the draft presented to parliament Monday only minutes before the midnight deadline.
Sunni negotiators opposed several parts of the draft, including federalism, references to Saddam Hussein’s Sunni-led Baath Party and the description of Iraq as an Islamic — but not Arab — country.
Israel completes historic withdrawal of Gaza in I week
SANUR, West Bank (AP) — Israeli forces armed with riot gear, saws and wire cutters evicted militant holdouts from two Jewish settlements Tuesday, completing Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s historic withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and a comer of the West Bank.
The relative ease and lack of violence with which Israel pulled out of the 25 settlements in just a week was a stinging setback to Israel’s ultra-nationalist movement, which for months had mounted vocal and dramatic resistance.
Palestinian and Israeli leaden as well as President Bush said the pullout — the first time Israel has abandoned territory Palestinians claim for their future state — opened new opportunities for peace negotiations.
