approved the 198990 budget Monday which means an increase in property taxes throughout the The new budget for the 198990 school year shows an increase in expenditures of million over last years A total of million will be spent this year as com pared to during last Major expen diture increases will go toward instruction workers compensation health insurance and food Instruction costs will increase by more than million because of the hiring of 10 addi tional career ladder payments and the implementation of the revised salary sche Workers compensation premiums also will increase by 30
